I used to think like this, and copped my first iphone a few months ago
now, granted. i'm not a power user of phones. i use it to do social media, browse the web, talk to friends, and arrange social outings w/ women (emoticons help here).

1st off, it's just much much smoother/responsive
2nd of all, the apps shyt all over android apps
3rd of all, Siri as a personal assistant>google now, and i get google now anyway
4th of all, imessage...not to be corny but i keep in touch much better w/ my friends w/ iphones
5th of all, sound quality from an iphone is much better imo
6th of all, yes, the shyt just feels premium

i tried to use my galaxy the other day just on wifi and the shyt almost felt unusable w/ how laggy it was. just seems like samsung comes w/ a bunch of gimmicks yet still cant touch the apple offering. vertical integration>*

Htc one (either version) begs to differ with all points listed except #2... And its been quite a while since ive seen an iphone app that doesnt work and android.

I have no issue with folk preferring the iphone. But hearing some of the weak ass reasons why they prefer it is downright annoying. Just say you like the phone better than any other phones out there and keep it moving. "premium feel" Fukk outta here.:camby: I used to be an Apple fanboy when the iphone first came out. But the competition has caught up while apple has been stagnant for several years now. The competition is now forcing Apple to do something innovative (which means copy a bunch of sh1t from other phones) for once. Go figure.

Note 3, LG G2, HTC One are killing the iphone.

I copped the new HTC One M8 on launch day and can say it is the best Android smart phone I have ever used.
Previously I had the original HTC 1, the Droid X, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Galaxy S4 and now the M8 so have a history with most of the big players in the Android world.

Is it so fluid and smooth, and the exterior feels premium and sturdy.
To give you an example, do you remember older model car doors compared to newer models? When you shut the older car doors, you felt the weight and heft in them (like in my 06 Acura RL) as opposed to the newer car doors that feel chintzy (like the '11 Acura TL i passed on in favor of the RL). The M8 feels sturdy like those older car doors, whereas the Galaxy S4 felt chintzy in comparison.

Plus the Sense 6 interface is not as bloated out at Touch Wiz and other skins, nor is it cartoonish looking.
The HTC One M8 is as close to pure Android as it gets in my opinion.

I am not really a fan of the Apple iOS and feel it is less user friendly than Android. Android also has a lot of features I prefer like notification bar, Google's integration with music, pics, browser, etc, and I have never been able to figure out how to multi-select emails, texts, etc in iOS to move, deleted them (not saying it doesn't exist, just not as straight forward as on Android).
All that being said, I can admit the hardware in the iPhone's has always been impressive and the phone performs well, it is just the iOS look and feel I could never connect with.

At the end of the day, it is all about preference and if you are a fan of Android smartphones you cannot go wrong with the HTC One M8.

thats the best RL IMO .. the newer cars all feel like they're using cheaper/lighter metal.. good comparison

the streets
all apple stans can tout that impresses me is build quality...and they put a plastic case on their crack prone devices anyway so its negated.

those phones are way too restrictive.

droid life. team samsung :jawalrus:
For as much iPhone stans brag about the build quality and shyt about iPhones, those things Crack and get damaged so easily. I got a huge dent on the corner of my old iPhone 5 from a foot drop

When will we get an iPhone. That is not so tiny
Give me one the size of a s3 at least
An Apple analyst confirms that the tech behemoth plans to release two new iPhones this year with different screen sizes.

Apple Insider reports that KGI securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said the company will release a 4.7 inch phone, and a high-resolution 5.5 inch phone. Both are said to be 10 to 20 percent thinner than the current iPhone 5.

Kuo said both will be released in the fall.
There you go, screen the exact same size as the s3

I'm just glad that we have both iOS and Android, they really serve two different demographics of customers. I've tried both and I'm rocking with Android. Like someone said earlier a GOOD Android phone is basically a pocket pc

just changed my battery on my motorola droid x910

yes a old ass 2 year old model but i got a gig of ram, running a kitkat rom :noah:

at the end of the day, it comes down to what you use your phone for. for your average person, the iphone is probably a better solution. take itunes out of the picture and it's not even close imo, but then again, im more of a power user when it comes to music/video file management.

also, i see a lot of folks mocking my "premium feel" comment

you cant even bring samsung phones into the conversation here. they're ugly plastic blocks to me. the HTC One line and the xperia lines are beautifully designed imo, but offer subpar experiences elsewhere from my time with them. and i only fukk w/ vanilla android so...

as far as apps go, developers still tend to develop for ios first, android 2nd. ios tends to have the more polished apps as well in my experience.

Android lets app developers have more freedom though. I'm not sure if Lastpass autofill passwords into apps would ever be allowed on iOS but on Android it's heavenly right now. And that's just one example.

I won't pretend to know what this means. Is your second sentence related to your first? If not, I have no idea why what you're talking about in the second would actually be an issue. Not being an ass, just don't understand. Never have to put passwords into apps.
