Mystique and Destiny raised Rogue as a couple, that's why Rogue cals them both "Mom"
They were constantly referring to each other as "my love" back in the 80's

Mystique as a character is not known for being gay. Noone when defining her says shes bi. Its "shape shifter. Master of disguise. Assassin. Mother of. Ightcrawler grydon creed and step mother of rogue. Member of brotherhood of evil mutants. EVIL". Being "BI" cuz she had a relationship with destiny is not what comes to mind when people think of her. Maybe for you cuz youre a potential homo but not the rest of the world.
Shes in 6 xmen movies not one mention of her being gay. Cuz thats NOT what definws the character.
She had a kid with sabretooth and with azrael.shes known more for her relationships with them than her relationship with destiny.
Her relationship with destiny is not what DEFINES her as a character like what OP is saying the movie studio is about to do. Creating a super hero for the sole reason to be a homosexual is not close to the same as implying a relationship beteen destiny and mystique during a point in history. I know exactly who the character is and being BI isnt what defines her. Get ya reading comprehension skills up
