the jlu storylines were darker than the burton films. completely different tone. youre just talking out your arse, at this point. dwayne mcduffie's hand was all in them shyts and he came from the comic book world to tv, so save that burton shyt. matter of fact, shame on you for discrediting a BROTHER. If not for Tim Burton re-invigorating the batman franchise with his darker vision.
You would never have gotten that type of media from dc/wb.
That is what you are not getting.

dc/wb did not make good cartoons just because like marvel did with Spiderman the animated series.
Or previous marvel cartoons, that were higher quality than the original superfriends.
Or, the slapstick phoney garbage that was batman with Adam west.
That is what you are not getting.

Luckily, burton came around to show dc/wb what they had.
Or it would be none of the shyt you experienced.
Dc/wb without burton were never going to give you quality.
Plus, real talk....
Like I said, my Gen had better cartoons.
Plus, they were not neutered by mother's groups.
Like all dc shyt typically is, or was till burton.
