Did ya'll know Nazi's were in MSG 2 years before WW2 started...

I don't if anyone else saw The Plot Against America but, if so, that scene where Bengelsdorf (John Turturro's character) speaks in favor of Lindbergh's presidency was inspired by this. David Simon spoke on it in one of the show's podcasts.

Germany could no more defeat the USSR than Japan could have beaten the US.

The soviets had better and more tanks, they had far more airplanes, they had far more soldiers.

The germans sent 4 million soldiers against the USSR's 16 million active duty soldiers with many millions more on reserve.

The biggest supplier of raw material to germany was the USSR. Just like the biggest supplier of raw material to japan was the US.

The only way germany could have won is if the USSR surrendered. There was no way that was going to happen. Stalin and the russians were willing to fight a war of attrition and withstand massive losses.

the one person that cared even less about his people than Hitler was Stalin

Germany would've lost World War II eventually anyway. Europe was not supplying the raw materials necessary to maintain the Nazi military and they were relying on Russia for many of those things (sound familiar?). Germany was heavily in arrears to Russia for the oils and metal provided and would've been cut off. The American alliance would've have continued to bail out Europe (sound familiar?) And Germany would've run out of money, personnel, and materials.
