Dude seems legit happy with where his career is. I'm sure he's doing well enough where his family is supported and that's fine for him. For that he's accomplished plenty. Not everyone feels the need to be on Vince's nuts to have a career.

Judging by his stint in TNA Styles wouldn't have stood a chance in WWE. Certain people would have buried his ass and he would have never recovered.
In TODAY'S WWE he might stand a chance because I could see Punk, Cena, and a couple other guys in his corner, but 5 years ago the WWE locker room would have eaten him alive.
