As much as I don't care for Drake's music...he's not going anywhere. Even if his new album is "great" or perceived as great, it will still sell.
Personally, I could really see this dude getting mad movie roles and start acting again if he didn't rap anymore or didn't want to. Probably will be where Common is, but would probably have more fame and an established fan base because of when and were he came into fame from acting.

I shyt on Drake as much as anybody but I think I'll wait until I hear the whole album before I decide whether or not Drake is destined for the Hip Hop bushes.

shaping up to be a classic, started from the bottom has a grimy hip hop beat that crossed over into pop radio, hold on were going home is the typical drake single and its catchy, wu tang and too much are fire

Drake's music takes time... it's a slow burn. He's so bigged up that you have excessive expectations for him. All his shyt sound better after a couple listens.
Maybe he brought upon some of those expectations himself when he decided to name a save-a-hoe song "Wu-Tang Forever", but it's whatever
