So about a year in...can we agree that Jimmy Fallon is the best at late night?

I remember a whole lot of cats feeling some type of way because NBC did Conan O'Brien dirty, but this is business and Conan wasn't really cutting it during his short run

Meanwhile Fallon is having a blast out there, celebs looking like they are having fun, classic skits such as the Saved By The Bell reunion, Lip Sync Battles, Joking Bad @hexagram23 , The Roots as the band...I mean the guy has it all going right now.

Who can really disagree? What is the argument? When was the last time someone watched Conan O'Brien on TBS since the whole Team Coco thing fizzled out

Can't believe I'm going to say this but NBC won...

Conan never was an 11 o'clock guy and his brand of comedy just doesn't work for everybody, dude is very hit or miss...I was a Fallon hater but dude is 70's Frank Lucas blue magic status right now...They made the right decision and the proof is in the ratings...

Kimmel still the main late night dude I fukks with though....

I'm a Conan stan, but yea, the show is great.

BTW, this dude had such a come up. On SNL, he was known as the dude that always ruined skits by laughing. Then he tried to have an Adam Sandler type movie career and failed. Then he layed low and landed Late Night, and now look at him

I used to be a huge Leno fan and never watched fallon until he came on the tonight show. I think he's doing great. Upbeat and entertaining. His skits and games with guests are fun. Wish they still did headlines tho but overall he's doing good. I don't watch any of the other late night shows atleast until colbert comes to the late show.

I don't even watch his show like that but I always catch his skits and games with celebrities on YouTube and that ish has me dying.

He has charisma and comes off like he just did a fresh bump, which is how I like my host.

dude is 40...meanwhile these other cats are damn near fossils....the 18-40 crowd fukks with him. He can connect perfectly with the young generation and the people who blossomed in the 90's and he's still cool enough to rock with the older cats that watch his show because he's so like-able. No one else would have done that saved by the bel sketch but him, no one else, because that's his generation and he is age appropriate enough to pull it off. Ol boy is gonna run late night for a while. He just seems like a regular cat interviewing and playing games with these big name celebs, that shyt will hold him down for a while.

This was basically my argument a while back.

I think he does connect better with the 18-40 crowd better, but can switch it up to appeal to people of all ages as well. The Joking Bad skit was huge for that reason, the Saved by the Bell tugged at almost everyone under 40...All that was missing was a remade starting intro, but was very well done.

I never found Fallon funny personally....but then again I dont find any of the late night hosts that funny outside of Stewart or Colbert if u consider them as part of that group. He's better than Letterman or Leno I guess

Nah, I actually think that the mistake Conan made was to try to appeal to the older crowd too much.

Fallon makes it a point to appeal to the younger 18-40 crowd, but throwing curveballs to keep the older heads tuning in as well. This is masterful what he is doing, he is the next late night GAWD and not even a year in. Conan will always have an audience, but its clear he won't be able to grab the younger crowd like Fallon or even Kimmel can tbh.
