Once again I think your being overly optimistic. A lot of things got to go right and for all that depth we have 1 PG in Baker (who I like) who also needs time to develop.

Like when a team tanks they do it in the FO. Not having a PG besides Baker and a rookie (Frank Nitty) is not how you get to the playoffs. It is however how you jump start player development. Yeah The Kings made the moves needed to get to the playoffs by adding veterans to the roster.

Also I still don't see Melo on this roster at the beginning of the year and if he is they are going to limit his minutes because they want the youth to get minutes.

Melo not getting traded.he only wants to play with either Bron or cp0. And nobody wants love or Ryan anderson so.......

Man...feels like the Melo issue will hold up moving KOQ (who we really should try to get compensation for before he opts out), Courtney Lee (who we've replaced in the starting line-up and could garner a nice asset or two in return plus cap space) and maybe Lance Thomas (who I actually think sticks around because they like how he contributes to the culture but I wouldn't mind moving)...so it's straight up no news until a Melo move happens but then I think we'll have a lot to talk about not just off the deal but off the aftermath as well.
