Nah I aint sayin he wrote it for Daz but Daz writing it for him is highly unlikely to me. That verse sounds like nothing Daz would come up with, dude never wrote for others, he had his shyt written for him a couple times (which I dont give a fukk about since daz will always be a producer first to me, he got a cool voice & flow but its a bit like dre with him).
I always loved "Snoops Upside Ya Head", the remix is cool too but nothing I listen to often. The original is still a classic song for me, that beat bangs and snoop is swaggin on it as always.
Dont know about "Hot Line" either, I used to think that it was maybe the skit before "Doggyland" but when I read the tracklists again both of those are on there so that cant be the solution.
The songs that are missing now are:
-Bugsy (The instrumental leaked on the anniversary edition, this shyt needs to come out in full, beat sounds amazing)
-Stone Cold Corleone
-Been So Long
-No Recognition
-Droppin Bombs (Only know that tray dee & south sentrelle song of the same name, could be that one as well)
-In The Rain (Theres also a remix listed, is there a version with snoop rappin?)
-Would U Kill 4 Me (Thats either the ride 4 me skit or that recently leaked dpg song)
-Conversation (Could be Freestyle Conversation)
-Hot Line

Droppin bombs is a dpg track short for lyrically droppin bombs its in the same vain as blueberry and for my nz & bz which is common for snoop albums to have songs like that.
Would u kill 4 me is indeed the song with dpg and kausion
In the rain is with hurt em badd the df version has snoop on it but idk if hes adlibbin or rappin
Conversation and freestyle conversation are 2 separate songs listed on dats.
If I had to guess Hot Line is a interlude that flows into head doctor.
You can tell upside ya head was done after pac died i dont see that song existing if he didnt. I know vapors battlecat version was done sept.7 96 and poohs version was done 10-12-96. So all in alm that song wouldve made the final cut. This is how i see the retail lookin with the pac features (with him still passing )

It came out after The Chronic and Doggystyle, breh.
A solid "7/10 album" is gonna get hate following up those classics.
Those albums had timeless anthems that still ring off in clubs/bbqs/parties to this day.
I can't remember a single song from The Doggfather outside of the joint with Supafly & Short, and that was far from a timeless, classic record.

Even with the pressure of having doggystyle before it, the record was dissappointing af. Its not completely wack but the retail is like 50/50 with great songs and absolutely forgettable ones.
Its a 6/10 for me. Dont know if you listened to my version but if not do it & I guarantee you its great. The retail is just without any quality control, thats what makes it so dissappointing. How the fukk you throw shyt like freestyle conversation on there ? Thats one of snoops worst songs for me
Yeah, I was trying to be cool because I fukk with Snoop heavy, but the album was trash for real.

At first I also tried to force myself to kinda like it as a whole, but after countless listens I just accepted that its like 50% amazing material with lots of filler and wack shyt sprinkled in between.
You peeped the new upload & listened thru ?
I just finished downloading it.
I'll probably check it tomorrow and see if my opinion on the project changes.
