This is a way better angle and even the sound I prefer than the official feed. You can feel their energy more. I had Snoop winning the Deep Cover vs Intro in the official feed but after watching this, X wins. The energy was better and it bounced more. The prayer and acapella sounded better. The official mic didn't sound as clear.

Snoop is great entertainer and showman. Love that dude.
I gave X the edge because his song selection was getting better towards the end. Snoop could have chosen a few other songs and he would have won.

I don't think the poll really reflects how close this battle was, no way was it a landslide as it suggests.
I feel DMX was more solid throughout a longer duration of the battle, Snoop had to keep going back to Doggystyle, he might as well have played the whole album.
BUT purely from an entertainment standpoint and the fact he was freestyling so flawlessly at the end might put him ahead.
I just feel DMX songs are made for this battle environment, you can't tell me that his intro song and "N*gz done started something" didn't bring the grimiest energy in the battle.

Great battle...even though X gave Snoop a tough fight, he still lost decisively imo but that’s nothing to be ashamed of. I mean shyt...this is Snoop Dogg, one of the greatest of all time.
