Not really. I agree with OP to some extent.
Snoop is the contemporary living embodiment of the pot smoking, expletive throwing, ebonics evoking, good to laugh with (and at), ganstalicious, blaxplotation harmless-at-a-distance, negative-for-the-overall-black-image archetype stereotype.
In Snoop's world (not his real one mind you), for gringos everything is solved by an expletive, smoking something or being "cool" and that imagery fits in with the image and qualities that they deem as worthy for and in US.
