I repeat, there's no Dr. Dre beat on Kendrick albums. There's no Dr. Dre co-produced beat on any Kendrick album either

Ok but that doesn't mean he never made music with him. Dre is just a weird dude who doesn't want to put shyt out. The shyt i heard on this album ain't it though.

Going back to listening to this Sting track…

I like it for what it is.

Which just confirms to me that the album is going to be an ok listen for what it is. Which, sadly, isn’t what we wanted.

But I’m ok with that and will just enjoy it as it is.

It‘s disappointing though, for sure.

Best case scenario; they see the reactions and release the stuff they recorded that fits expectation a little more.

Listened to Outta Da Blue again.

I guess I do like all three tracks. How much is up for debate. I’m conflicted.

I suppose the reality is that, overall, this isn’t what I expected to hear. So I’m definitely just going to suspend my biases when I listen on Dec 13th, and see how I feel when listening to the album on it‘s own merits only.
