I don’t know why people talk about cancel culture when it’s been here since before Jesus. Like Snoop haven’t called for Fox News people to be fired, or other bozos like Tekashi to get canceled.

At the end of the day, we all want to cancel people we think are breaking serious rules that we respect. At least for some time.

A lot of things most (?) people agree on like racism, other things only a minority cares about like jokes about sexual preferences.

Everyone lose they luster and allure over time and Snoop definitely be lying through his teeth and calling some questionable plays. But y’all taking it way too far talking like snoop some cornball. Breh image was literally being the epitome of cool in his prime. He just been relevant long enough to have his fair share of Ls and wrong moves. But that happens to everyone who been around that long.

If cancel culture wasn't real, Snoop wouldn't have gone on the apology tour to protect his earning power after standing up for Kobe and shytting on Gayle King.

Nick Cannon wouldn't have said "nobody can make me back down" before backing down after Jewish groups pressed him.

That's not cancel culture, those are called consequences.

A rapper with missing police files talmbout not getting cancel cultured. Yeah right. When a certain people make a phone call, he'll do exactly what he's told to do. He couldn't even stand up to some bytchass like Gayle King

The Gayle King thing was all on him though. He’d be ok if he would’ve said he didn’t agree with her like a normal human being.. The extra name calling was unnecessary. He knows that people are sensitive now so it is what it is.

Real life consequences isn't the same as "cancel culture".

Cancel culture is social media fixating on something for 2-3 days before they move onto the next topic.

Most of the people up in arms don't even give a fukk about what everyone is supposedly mad about. They just want to dog pile on and fit in.

Which is why half the time it doesn't gain traction outside of the internet.

See: Dave Chappelle.

Having said all that, Snoop is harmless. He's doing cooking shows with Martha Stewart and shyt. He's had to apologize of things he's said/did in recent years but the fact of the matter is he ain't been canceled because nobody takes him seriously. He's that old, goofy uncle that everyone loves now.

Fred.
