@jjj123 is right, thc is what gets you high but also what causes some people anxiety and paranoid. cbd is non-psychoactive, it's the medicine in the weed. Antipsychotic, anti-inflammatory etc., and prevents the psychosis like high straight thc tends to give. "medical" marijuana is because of the cbd, not thc. Thats why i stay away from wax. 85%thc with .09% cbd is a horrible ratio which is how it is around the dispensaries here

im pretty sure you have to cook weed and decarb it before you can eat it and it have an effect. ive never heard of eating raw weed and getting high from it.
