Smif-N-Wesson - Infinity (Album Discussion)

I'm gonna be blunt, this shyt is almost unlistenable so far.

Look, Smif-N-Wessun is my favorite group of all time. Them dudes changed my life. But this shyt here........

I'm on track 7 and I don't think I can make it through the whole album. Aside from "Cadima" (which is a banger with a dope Pharoahe Monch feature", this is some of the most adult milqeutoast production I've ever heard.

It's a damn shame, cuz they're still spitting and dropping plenty of jewels. Lyrics ain't the problem here, this production is mid as fukk.

It’s too easy on the ears to me. I always feel like Khrysis has the best production on these soul council projects. I almost just wish they’d let Khrysis do all of it. The beats he did on the joints with Sean P, Conway, and the title track are all dope.

I thought the production in their last album minus Nottz and Khrysis was kind of bland but this is more so.

Don't know what you haters are on. This is a good album. That Prodigy track is smooth.

What were you expecting? Some shyt like Bucktown or Sound Bwoy Burial?

These dudes are in their 50's man cmon. This is grown man hip hop.

They front loaded this with the more boring songs. These are some Common ass beats lol. The previous album struck a better balance.

Enjoy Ya Life to the end of the album is dope though, the sequencing kind of makes this album seem worse than it is.

Great to hear Prodigy and Sean P too.
