How the fukk did they not drop this clown yet.The manga went on hiatus where the anime went off in 2012 and didn't start back up until about May or so last year before running for 8 chapter's and going back on hiatus. The thing is those aren't the only hiatus he's taken and the amount he has took is so many that we fans have nicknamed it hiatus x hiatus and we don't even know why tho ugh we speculate it's either because he has back problems, wants to fukk his Sailor Moon wife (she created Sailor Moon), is playing Dragon Quest, hates Shonen Jump, or is just lazy and all of those except the second are likely (though he was the main editor for Kurokou no Basket until he came back from his hiatus last year which is work).

To put that into perspective One Piece has 775 chapter's out and started in 1997 while Hiatus x Hiatus started in 1998 and has 349.
To put it into more perspective Chimera Ant ran from 2003-2011.
To put it into even more perspective Leorio was gone from the story for a little over a decade (and on Leorio I'm still irritated at the scenes the anime took out from him because it makes him seem useless when he did more in the manga and it's like one if two things they changed and it's my favorite).

They can't.
HxH is still one of the highest selling series even w/ the riduculous breaks.
Not to mention he wrote YYH and quit writing that even though it was still one of the most popular series out when the editors wouldn't let him take it in the direction he wanted to. They're happy to take what he gives them w/ HxH

Why would you want a major villain group to get taken out in One arc without anymore exploration of their characters and a look at why they got the eyes of Kurapika's clan.The Yorknew Arc was the best so far but
I was hoping I'd get to see all the Troupe members get taken down.
The boss didn't even get beaten in a one on one fight he just lost all his powers.
Also just to add but in the manga Leorio opened one of the high ton doors at Killuas mansion in his own, came up with the arm wrestling plan and beat this really tough guy easily and broke the table and put in more work with all the bartering and underground stuff and whatnot.

Starting to notice how much Naruto was influenced by Hunter x Hunter. 
Hunter exam = Chuunin Exams
The students have to go through a forest in both and at the end there was a tournament. Hanzo vs Gon also reminded me of Naruto vs Neji.
Clan known for magical eye powers gets slaughtered and lone survivor goes looking for revenge = Kurapika/Sasuke
Scarlet Eye = Sharingan
Phantom Troupe = Akatsuki
In HxH Wing made Gon/Killua use a leaf in a glass of water to determine what type of Nen user they were by inserting the Nen into and watching how it reacted. In Naruto Kakashi gave Naruto a piece of paper and made him put his chakra inside of it to see how it reacted.
Hisoka who was a rogue member of the Phantom Troupe has a gay obsession with Gon sort of like how Orochimaru is a rogue Akatsuki member and has a gay obsession with Sasuke.
Illumi coming and threatening to kill Gon causes Killua to leave the Hunter Exam reminds me of Itachi coming back to Konoha to threaten Sauke which causes him to leave Konoha. Then the main character tries to go back and save them.
Maybe I'm reaching with some of these but the similarities are there.
