Keep thinking USA is the only country with TVs and advertisers. :heh:

Brits don't get ANY money for their medals, Gold Silver or Bronze.

Paying taxes on money earned is just the way it is.

Trust me though those athletes that won will make ALL that money back and more.

And if you don't think the US is the Media capital of the world you are kidding yourself.

Who cares about media capitals? :heh:

once again and for the last time,

My point is that athletes not from America can make money from endorsements. Remember how shocked some brehs were when the Forbes list came out showing how much tennis players, Indian cricketers, etc. made just in endorsements eclipsing many US athletes? Imagine if they had a list based only on endorsements and didn't include winnings/salary. You'd probably be very shocked.

:why:USA is the only country that plays the olympics track and field events delayed so they can get financial gain of prime time hours. CBS is raping companies for ad spots and the Americans have to suffer by watching tape delays while the rest of the world watches it live on tv. The only way to view it live is online or certain streaming apps..

:childplease:

World's Highest-Paid Athletes
#1 Floyd Mayweather - Kurt Badenhausen - Forbes

Check how many in the top 100 overall are making practically no money off of endorsements and how many are football and baseball players.

I thought the tax was for the stipend they receive for winning medal and not the actual medal itself. I could be wrong though.
