SMH at olympian winners having to pay taxes on their gold, silver, bronz medals

first off I didnt know the olympians get paid a certain amount for the gold, silver, and bronze medals....i dont they got paid through whoever endorsed them

secondly i also just found out that they have to pay taxes....which i cant figure why they should, its not employment and them winning as nothing to do with the US goverment. The 17 yr old female swimmer who has won like 4 golds and 1 bronze has to pay over $10,000 in taxes

USA is the only country that plays the olympics track and field events delayed so they can get financial gain of prime time hours. CBS is raping companies for ad spots and the Americans have to suffer by watching tape delays while the rest of the world watches it live on tv. The only way to view it live is online or certain streaming apps..
