I gave this one to smartmouf, because Ugo did his thing definitely. But this is the final four. Calling someone a dikksucker for 8 straight bars is some round 1 shyt.

And smartmouf killed that Ugo impression.

You remind me of "Al Sharpton", you a "race baiting Snitch" - this was funny cus I thought making the whole verse about Race vs White Mike was super forced... And then the same thing happened in this battle. Just too forced / redundant

His flow was funny so you throw him money...
Truth of the matter is you saw this day, coming - Pretty good line seeing as omar had like 7 votes and you 70.. And I cut omar's wack shyt off 30 seconds in.






After going back over both disses multiple times:


Smartmouf - Basically made an entire verse calling Ugo a c00n in 100 different ways, and some of the bland lines were hard to swallow... I just couldn't feel the c00n angle LIKE THAT cus the whole thing felt forced... We know Ugo does shyt for laughs... So, if you had 1 line about him c00ning? Cool... 2 , 3 lines? cool... Hell, 5 lines? Cool... Breh you wrote like 100 lines about him c00ning... Only way you write that many lines about the *same thing* is if you have the nikka on tape LITERALLY kissing a white man's ass to keep his job... I'm talking LIPS ON BUTTCHEEKS... Then it would be ether... But to do it simply based off a voice gimmick....

Overall Verse: 8.0 / 10




Ugo: You had more filler than I thought breh... But the accent / the beats you pick make the shyt sound good anyway... Like it does mask some average lines, to Smartmouf's point, but aint that what good flow / charisma supposed to do??.. (Jay-Z / 2pac lived off it they entire career.. Their lyrics mostly SUCK, especially compared to someone like Nas)

Your verse started out CRAZY STRONG, and you faded... But it was a 2nd round K.O.. The Abe Lincoln / Booth scheme is rafters worthy... I mean that is a tough fukking scheme.

first off i love this dude Ugo's flow when hes riding the beat. Always an enjoyable listen.
whats the deal with the accent though is it just me or did some parts sound like the accent
was almost completely gone. Still, dope verse, prob not the strongest one youve dropped in the
tourney but still killed it. race card personals were on point in this, flow always crisp but not as
good as in the earlier rounds imo.
damn hard verse from smartmouf too, personals were on point. flow was more reserved then ugo's
but the delivery was hard as fukk. i was gonna say that the voice inflection thing is gfetting worn out since you just did it last battle
but honestly against Ugo you pretty much have to do it cuz the accent is so ridic. idk, its close

Seein Ugo destroy cacs over the years (@Da_Eggman ) made @smARTmouf 's c00n angle fall flat with me. It's a stretch, and considering majority of this forum cosigns Ugo's work, even the websites creators, I can't buy it. Are we c00ns, too, for supporting his character? See what I'm sayin. Unfortunately his whole track was based on that premise. Had it really applied, Ugo would've been cooked. Bringing back the white commentary felt redundant, also.

This rang loudest to me. I think we agreed Smarmouf's militant angle from last battle came outa left field and was pretty safe against @MichaelWhite , although it was still FIRE. Here we are again with more militancy (anti-c00n). Off rip it felt a little redudant, and considering the anti-c00n movement has reached new heights on thecoli, the approach again seemed was kinda safe along with feeling forced.


One thing Ugo may have going against him is fatigue toward his shtick. He's dropped what, 7 diss tracks in 3 weeks? Too much of a good thing can work against you. Regardless, I can't deny the consistency, flow, production value, schemes, humor, and direct shots at his opponent.

Smartmouf could've had it, but aimed too far left with the c00n stuff IMO. The viciousness was there. Judging from your comments in Ugo's last battle thread, I expected you to take the angle @The_Computer almost ran with and really get at his fake heritage and whatnot. More like" the nigerian scammer," "nigerian women when he end up missin" shyt. Prolly would've won by default had you dropped a MollyWatr reference

Either way, both tracks were fukking flames. NUMEROUS listens are required before considering a vote. The fact I've listened to each track atleast 7 times and feel its necessary to explain my vote out of respect is telling.
