False. A smart girl should be able to figure out how to get the kind of man she wants. Smart and attractive are anything but mutually exclusive.

People have the falsely concocted notion that "smart" means socially inept, homely, and unattractive. They build this on the "nerd" paradigm from shows like the Big Bang Theory or any other movies or TV shows featuring a nerd. People figure that anyone who is unattractive (in a nerdy looking way) must make it up by somehow being really smart, and attractive people are conversely dumb.

All physical things equal, dumb girls are significantly less attractive than their smarter peers. Also, smart girls are easier to hit on and talk to because they'll know more about a broader variety of topics, more or less.
