???

How does that correlate

Oh I mentioned this in the other thread. I usually only use the Network when we have watch parties and for PPVs.

I initially got it just because I thought it was bargain to get 12 PPVs for the price of two WrestleManias. If Smackdown went to 3 hours, that would be 4 extra hours of programming a month, which is how long PPVs seem to be going.

Edit: I know technically 205 Live and weekly NXT are on the Network but I barely keep up with them.

The thought of Road Dogg having to write/book a 3 hour show with Vince's approval is :dead: :dead: :scust:

Ryan Ward still is a lead writer. I think he's the second in command under Road Dogg. Of course the McMahon/Dogg influence is heavy but even so, literally every one of his ideas would have to be rejected or "revised" for him to have no responsibility for the issues with SD!

I'll say something positive. One good thing that could come from this is reducing the house show schedule.

In theory they wouldn't need to run as many house shows if they have the extra guaranteed Smackdown money.

True. But then again, he was in charge of the Mixed Match Challenge that was pretty fun. When you look at Ward's resume, the only REAL shytty stuff he's done as whole has been working under Road Dogg :patrice:

I've kinda been expecting this move. If raw could potentially command 300 million, why wouldn't they attempt to market SD in a similar manner. However, I think it's going to kill their casual fan base even more but its asking a company a lot to turn down that kinda money.
