Not that I would ever consider it but sometimes you do get curious. Feel free to suggest areas of my body that should be targeted for improvement.

Want to define the midsection more but i would probably have to starve myself for a week for that and genetically i just don't think i have abs that come out like they should but i'll keep doing weighted v sits planks and various leg lifts

the bulking thing is tough calorie wise. My chest has always been kind of disproportionate to the rest of my body so if i bulk too much i get man boobs

700 cals per lb muscle

3500 cals per lb fat

if the goal is one lb muscle a week, a 700 cal total surplus is needed over your maintenance(technically more since muscle building isnt chemically favorable)

so about 200-300cals over maintenance a day for 1lb of muscle a week(slow but ensures minute fat gain)

so if your maintenance is 2200-2300(eyetest) your bulk cal numbers would be 2400-2600

not that hard to eat that much :manny: its when you eat way more than you need to that fat gains come in droves, anything that isnt made into muscle WILL become fat. and considering fat is extremely favorable to build in the body opposed to muscle, any "over" surplus i can ensure is going to fat

without eating well, you wont "bulk" on steroids either so i would be certain of what you want first

roids is a definite no no i'm young enough to produce my own testosterone. If i could find a way to make my abdominal muscles bigger i think i'd be in a good spot but I think thats genetics. If i find the discipline to bulk i'll probably make sure to focus on shoulders and upper chest to stay proportional but its summer... i wont consider bulking till winter...ain't trying to look bloated at the beach...but your right 3-400 calories extra a day ain't going to make me bloated if i lift right

i do these for abs

but honestly, its extra

heavy deadlifts/squats>>>>>

as far as diet, as long as you increase protein to about 1g per pound bodyweight + increase fat intake while sticking to your daily cal number

cant fail, dont have to eliminate carbs either. Just replace some of the portions with more meat/legumes etc

You're on the path to underwear model status. Keep adding mass, you won't need much for the implied physique you're goin for.

you need some mass imo.....

abs are straight, but arms are :flabbynsick:

You pull-ups right?

Haha pull ups aren't in my current routine since as of right now I'm doing heavy weights low reps pull ups only have my body as a resistance but Ive had them in my routine before and perform them fine. Good feedback. Arms are well I try my best not to make them big and become unsymmetrical to my body but they can use some toning

I mean I understand not wanting to bulk, because your abs are almost at perfection. With

that said pull-ups, push-ups and tricep dips shouldn't hinder your progress or make

your arms too big...

the way i see it is, because of the lack of emphasis on your back and what im guessing are average legs

your chest seems to overpower everything else

do a straight forward strength routine for 3 months and i guarantee everything ends up looking better :manny:

:what:

if you get bigger, you will grow all over. you gain and lose weight all over your body, not just in spots.

and what exercises are you doing exactly? you said you're doing heavy weights and low reps..i think a deadlifting emphasis would fix a lot of your issues..
