Sylvester Stallone confirmed his classic 1990s sci-fi/action satire Demolition Man is getting a sequel.

During an Instagram Q&A, Stallone responded to a fan question as to whether the 1993 film starring him and Wesley Snipes would receive a followup of any kind. "I think it is coming," Stallone responded. "We're working on it right now with Warner Bros. and it's looking fantastic, so that should come out. That's going to happen."
This announcement comes almost a year after Stallone settled a profit dispute with Warner Bros. over four films, including Demolition Man.

My best friend and I had a long talk last night and this came up. We're both firmly on the side of "I'd like to see another demolition man movie but not with Sly" :russ:

When I think of that movie, I think of the satire, the themes, and Wesley. Sly is basically generic action hero guy in it just filling a role. You can plug anyone into the John spartan part and the movie would be fine (which is the point of the satire). If Daniel Waters has some shyt to say, and I don't doubt that he does, then do that shyt. but keep sly out of it:manny:

No Wes + Sly's string of so-so movies in his older age = a no go for me.
