DETROIT (Do Every Thing Right Or It's Trouble)
The real SV to me is Fan-Tas-Tic V1 and V2 era:hubie:

Elzhi ain’t J88:beli:
He was definitely around then. He was there at the beginning and at their 2002-2006 peak.

Detroiters consider Elz an OG member. So what he wasn’t on Vol. 1 (Vol. 2 is just a repackaged version of the same album), he was on every album after.

I get he Slum Village in the same sense as Johnny Gill is New Edition after Bobby Brown left.

And I don’t wanna disrespect @DetroitEWarren @detroitwalt and all the other Detroit homey.

And I feel the whole 2002-06 peak thing.

However, it’s still J88, Fantastic 1, Fantastic 2 for me.

When Dilla left in 01, the Baatin died. That was it for me

Ehzhi came later, I don’t recall him on any J88 or pre 2001 SV tracks or Dilla beats.

If he was, please put me on kind sir

Dilla is better. Fun fact T3 actually produced the original "Runnin" beat for Pharcyde and Dilla just remade it over. T3 was upset at Dilla for doing that and was also mad that he didnt even offer to give him co production credit for the track as well.
Source? Only thing about that beat I've ever heard was Fatlip changed the drums and then Imani put the beats on him and asked Dilla to redo them to how they were before

Slum Village worked with Dilla more so of course they would say that, you could say he's a member of the group.
