maybe, dependin' upon how you look at it. because rick was on his way after the great adventures of slick. but then i think about the d.o.c.'s story and how he really wasn't able to comeback after the accident. at least slick rick did get a 2nd chance years later with the art of storytellin'. but i hear you though, good point

it's sad to me, breh. Of the top 5 GOAT 80s rappers (Slick Rick, Rakim, Kane, KRS-1 and Kool G), Slick Rick is probably my favorite. Between him and Rakim. And his flow lasted longer than Rakim's. He was still killing it by 98/99. He murdered Mos Def on Auditorium, and that was like 2007. How come no one's forcing Rick into a studio to record that "Long Hot Summer" album he might have in him.
