Combat in this was so satisfying. Simple but gratifying.
Used to run those fight club gauntlets surrounded by two dozen goons and not get touched a single time. Said it before but you'd be feeling like Neo after he realized that he was the one once you mastered hand to hand combat in this.

I remember a scene in the club where the opps had a girl hostage and I shot her dead in the face on accident it was like instantly I had ptsd. The camera got kinda blurry like Wei was sick and Jackie and Conroy voices were in the background saying “Yoo wtf/sht Wei you just killed that girl/ shot her right in the face!”
Son I never felt more guilty in a game
Who’d even expect that kind of moment or depth in a game
Def needs a reboot. With how rabid and unoriginal these publishers are idk why it hasn’t happened yet. Maybe E3 will have something

ironically playing a little bit of judgment recently is what made me play this game but not for good reasons...the combat in judgment/the yakuza games in general doesn’t feel as hard hitting as it does in this game
