I got this on Steam and only put a few hours in so far. It was good from what I played so far.

Definitely a damn good sandbox game, but let's not slander the greatness that is Red Dead Redemption.
I really loved the emphasis on hand-to-hand, but there was a lot of polish left off this one, polish that Rockstar gave RDR in spades.
Just the gunplay alone
RDR was boring to me. It had it's moments but also had way too many moments that made me want to fall asleep. I had more fun with sleeping dogs.
RDR and SD has two completely different feels. playing RDR, you basically felt like it was you and your horse 90% of the time. SD is a pretty lively atmosphere with a lot of people roaming about. I'd have to put SD over RDR just off the options and replay value.
Sleeping Dogs was one of my favorite games of 2012. Even though it was a bit of a jack-of-all-trades/master-of-none, it was mad fun to fool around (brutal takedowns, car-jumping, dropkicking pedestrians, smashing into oncoming traffic, eating pork buns). The Hong Kong atmosphere was well executed too.
Definitely hope they put a bit more resources into another game. Add a co-op, or even basic multi/free-roam options...and maybe a more interactive city, more sidequests etc

i like RDR and SD but i'll prolly give SD the edge becuz of the hand to hand combat and the overall culture of the game....plus the die hard ending was just

hell yea, and dude got a gauge to the shoulder and still put the hands on ol boy

beat this last month game was piff, i loved the focus on hand to hand combat,refreshing change from guns,which seem to be the focus of almost every game this gen.
also managed to buy every car,fun as fukk ripping around in the lambos,enjoyed the street races.
i always do every single side quest in sandbox games.
