You choose your desired temperature and the AC/heating pump cools or heats to said temperature.
The air don’t blow no colder based on the temperature its set at.

Yeah you are 100% right. I got 2 of them in the garage right now to avoid that happening again.

Depends.

If you are in a commercial building or maybe high end home with newer/expensive multi stage ACs then yes, lower temp on the thermostat will result in colder air.

In MOST homes, the single compressor is either on or off and the air is getting pumped out at the same temp no matter what.

Yeah you are 100% right. I got 2 of them in the garage right now to avoid that happening again.

And get a contractor as well

78 in the humid ass summer is demonic.

I will fight everything in your house...even your dog.

70 to 73 max.

Winter time or in California summer...I'm good with a dry 75 to 77.
