Bruh the capacitor on our AC went out a few nights ago and we had to sleep in 76-78 degrees....

I felt like I was going to die, fukkin miserable


Run cap is like 30-60 bucks always keep these on deck it's a 3 min fix

Y'all ain't have to suffer like that

You choose your desired temperature and the AC/heating pump cools or heats to said temperature.
The air don’t blow no colder based on the temperature its set at.

Depends.

If you are in a commercial building or maybe high end home with newer/expensive multi stage ACs then yes, lower temp on the thermostat will result in colder air.

In MOST homes, the single compressor is either on or off and the air is getting pumped out at the same temp no matter what.

78 in the humid ass summer is demonic.

70 to 73 max.

Winter time or in California summer...I'm good with a dry 75 to 77.
