He's trying to show that people don't have to be all the way in one camp or the other. People don't fall into political boxes and may agree with different positions from various places on the political spectrum.


The problem is the Trump camp is the one that started all the hate, and the other side just had a natural reaction to it. What @King Jove said is true as well that one side is expected to do all the forgiving.
