Kanye is an ego maniac, and he's a weirdo, but should we really believe that he's dumb? Come on. He has handlers, no matter what he says about having no managers, he has smart people around him who know all about branding and PR and marketing, etc... He is not dumb enough to say stuff like this publicly and it be genuine. So, either he is trolling because that's the thing now, which probably isn't the case. Or, he is just courting attention at all costs, even if its negative, which has been proven to work wonders (See

I bet you some billionaire CEOs were expressing their love of Donald Trump around him and thats where all this came from, it's probably that simple. Them Captain of Industry, high falutin, power players on the 40th floor of the building they own calling the shots, you can tell those are the people he idolizes now and dreams of breaking bread with. I don't think he cares about appeasing his "rap" audience at this point, he knows they'll check for him and his sneakers no matter what he says, they're idiots. He probably doesnt even want to be a rapper anymore, probably feels its beneath him, you can tell when you hear him speak that his passion is elsewhere, but he knows that his rap royalty status is what allows him to venture off into the other shyt that he really cares about. He got the white wife, the white voice, the white political views, the white wealthy fashion friends, etc... it's all strategic, and as always we react emotionally to the charade
