Casino Royale >>> Batman Begins
Quantum of Solace <<< The Dark Knight
Skyfall = The Dark Knight Rises
To be fair to Nolan, as I've spoken about before, Skyfall completely aped that whole "villain is captured... but ESCAPES" plot from TDK, as have other recent movies (ST:Into Darkness is another one...hell, TDKR did it with Bane but that was at the beginning of the movie so it was a little different).
Both Skyfall and TDKR had some good character moments and dialogue, but are also both dragged down by plot inconsistencies.
Honestly, when you look at the Craig Bond movies, and compare them to the Nolan Batmans...you really start to understand how formulaic modern blockbusters are. I'm not saying that these films are point for point....but there are a lot of similar themes and motifs found throughout. I could easily see turning the plot of TDKR into a Bond film for instance...I can easily see turning Skyfall into a Batman movie. It's very interesting.
Low key...Bond only won because of prep time....
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
^ Imagine this being overlapped over TDKR during Batgoat's second fight with Bane....
