Kolb was never that good the same way Flynn was never that good, the Philly WRs inflated his numbers

good WRs can make QBs look good, Larry Fitzgerald the shyt and all but who else is there in arizona right now? :why:

If Skelton OR Kolb have even DECENT or AVERAGE numbers this year, then Fitzgerald should be the runaway MVP.

I think Kolb is better than he has shown. You don't think it's strange that in Philly he looked like a starter but looks like a bum in Arizona? That line is atrocious....to the point where Kolb is shook.

A bad line will make you see ghosts.

I don't think he's great, but I think he's serviceable. He has not looked like that in Arizona.
It was all check downs to shady McCoy... The whole time... He was a smoke and mirrors act

Arizona is just dumb for not recognizing that Philly's system is very QB friendly. Look at what Vick did there. Now they got the rookie beasting there. QB's tend to look good in "gasp" good systems that play to their strengths.

Not making excuses but that line in Zona is fukking garbage.

The line in AZ is garbage, but they actually play better when Skelton is in the game. They give up less sacks.

Kolb holds on to the ball to long and runs into sacks

He's chicken shyt in the Cardinals system. They were stupid to trade for him. He's not a good fit at all.Strictly a west coast offense type of guy.Even then, he's mediocre

I read a stat that he's like 2-14 in his last 16 starts.....:huhldup::no:

Yeah, especially the bolded. Reid's system was more rhythm-oriented for him which, as you can now see with Foulk, suits some QBs pretty well.

I NEVER understood how Kolb ever became a hot commodity on the market in the first place when he'd only had TWO good games comprising his resume. shyt was and still is mind-boggling to me, clearly has to go down as one of the worst personnel moves in recent NFL memory.

There has always been a reason why Philly fans never lamented his departure....and now 'Zona brass is seeing why.

Bruh, I called him a checkdown champion then and I call him the same thing now. However, there are many QB's in the league who have moved the ball checking down and dinking and dunking.

Kolb is not good, but he is better than what he has shown there.

Even last year he had a few good games against good defenses. He had 3 games with a QB rating over 90. 2 of those defenses were Dallas and then at washington.

Again, he's not good, but he's not as bad as yall are saying.

Then you look at how pathetic that line is...it's kinda hard to shyt on him. Besides Fitz, who else is there in Arizona? :yeshrug:

Pretty much....dudes think QB's are interchangable and can play in any system. Some can, but many can't. Kolb is a perfect WCO guy.

He does hold the ball too long and walk into sacks but it's not like Skelton is any better....He may get the ball out quickly but he makes some dumb decisions. Neither QB should be starting.

I hate this thinking though bruh. He's been a quarterback ALL his life and if he's "shook" at this point due to an average-below average O-Line....he ain't the one you should want starting anyway

average? They are top 3 worst pass blocking lines in the league without question.

It's one thing to "make plays" but before he finishes his dropback he's got nikkaz in his face on every play.

Not excusing him, but why didn't these clowns address the line early in the draft?

Wisenhunt will be gone next year anyways....as will Kolb and Skelton. They all suck..but I blame Wisenhunt the most out of all of them.

+ a semblance of OLine yes

a good QB is overrated in the NFL

yes i said it, most of the issue is with scheme, pass protection and/or WR ability
