There was an assumption that he would want to come here, when the REALITY was, he never once mentioned Philly. People take "scenarios" they hear off talk radio, or suggestions from analysts, and run with them like they're factual info. I have no clue why Philly fans always think they're the #1 option for FAs, no matter the sport.

So what I'm saying to YOU, john goodman, is that whomever your "sources" are, they're most likely wrong and clearly don't have contact with Dwight Howard's camp. If they did, they would know that he's been pretty adamant about the same teams for awhile now.

What I do know is if both want to win a title together this is their best option

I do know that it is 100% possible within the cap

I do know that the higher ups in the sixers are working around the clock on this



At this point it's a matter of selling the idea to Dwight and deron, we have a couple months to do it. The guys that own this team are some of the best salespeople on earth (wall street tyc00ns) so I have to trust they will do what they can. Fact is dwight changes his mind everyday and deron hasnt made up his mind, we have a legit chance of convincing these guys this is the best option.

I kinda agree.

What could the Nets offer? Brook + Brooks? It hasn't made any sense what they've done and in hindsight, both the Deron Williams AND Gerald Wallace trades have turned out to be completely retarded for them with no long term vision at all. They are down to Marshon Brooks and Gerald Green as their two most important players and don't even have a 1st rounder this year.

That's why it'd almost have to be the Lakers or Knicks as kind of an underdog.

The Knicks probably wouldn't do Melo + Chandler for Dwight right now.

But Bynum and and an expiring for Dwight and Hedo would be done tomorrow if Orlando could. Whether Bynum is the better player or not, he's pretty damn close and starting to attract some media attention. His stock has definitly rised and he's now being taken very seriously by the league.
