I mean Embiid and Maxey want to be there. But damn from Jahlil Okafor, to Fultz, to Simmons, and now Harden. Sheesh
Retirement, who else is gonna wanna deal with this? I think he is out the league very soonThis man really about to get in his team cancer bag. I wonder what else he has planned
Well I listed four things as to why the trade hasn't went down and yeah developing Bones & Boston would be last on that list but its still a factor. Not to mention its a one year loan with Harden since he's a free agent after this upcoming season. Having to resign PG, Kawhi, and Harden will have the front office heads spinning.I don't believe the Clippers are not making the trade because of Bones and Boston.
The reason the trade isn't happening is because there's no trade 76ers can make with the Clippers that makes them better right now. Which is a necessity to keep Embiid happy.
This organization is just full of frauds top to bottom; owner is some rich weirdo, Morey is constantly getting exposed as a dipshyt but because he can use a pivot table nba media diefies him, Embid is a front running bytch that crumbles under pressure, Harden... you already know.
I just dont think Frank is like, “I’d love to trade for Harden but it's more important to see what we have with Bones and Boston.” Two inefficient chuckers that don't play defense, one that washed out of the world champions and another that fell in the draft, just aren't relevant to the Clippers decision-making in this trade imo. Not even as the fiftieth consideration. As fans I think it's totally fair yo rather see what we have in young guys than adding Harden to the mix.Well I listed four things as to why the trade hasn't went down and yeah developing Bones & Boston would be last on that list but its still a factor. And with this latest Harden diss on Morey, there's no need for us to go beyond offering up Morris, Norm, and a first round pick and calling it a day. We don't even need to be in this type of drama anyways. Its like we're being sucked into it against our wishes. Low key I think Kobe Brown and maybe Bones and or Boston might turn into something and we won't even think about Harden. Can't wait for preseason
I get your point but like I said the Bones/Boston thing would be last on the list of the other things I mentioned. You're sort of turning this into the sole reason why the trade didn't go down which is far from the case. The main factors is that even if we get Harden, the success of the team is still going to be on Kawhi & PG being healthy. Also we just resigned Westbrook who just like Harden is extremely ball dominate and I can't really see them both on the floor at the same time. Then Mann needs his proper minutes and there's the fact that Harden isn't known as a post season-big game performer at all. Those are the main points. The Bones/Boston sh*t I'm talking about is low on the totem pole sub plots and not to be mistaken for being the main reason the trade hasn't gone down. If it even happens at all. We'll seeI just dont think Frank is like, “I’d love to trade for Harden but it's more important to see what we have with Bones and Boston.” Two inefficient chuckers that don't play defense, one that washed out of the world champions and another that fell in the draft, just aren't relevant to the Clippers decision-making in this trade imo. All that being said I think you're much higher on them than I am. Basically I need to see them do something before I start inning my hopes on them. If Boston is going to help the team my assumption would be that he'd be dominating competition with Ontario. I don't think that's been the case.
Yeah having to resign all three would be a headache. But I imagine ticket sales would be decent and it's ballmers money not mine.
Can't wait for the season to start!
The problem is we're at a reflection point where too many athletes have completely disregarded that they have to show...AND prove. And that's mainly because the owners/FOs have let them get away with it.I kind of still believe in player empowerment, but nikkas like Harden abuse it. If a "star" player doesn't win a title, it's always someone else's fault, especially with him. Now he wants another trade. I understand Morey is a fraud as a GM, but they're essentially tied at the hip together.
He's getting paid a significant amount of money that other players would leap at. But because they're not exactly all in on giving him even more money, and deservedly so, he's going to pout and cause a distraction. Orgs and teammates don't want to deal with that shyt, especially when it's been a pattern.
100% agree. There are times where I feel like some of these players believe that the CEOs are generating a large source of revenue off their play. Some of these CEOs are operating at a loss with owning these franchises. The Walton family didn't buy the Broncos because their main source of revenue was football. Same thing with Balmer and Paul Allen with basketball. The problem is we're at a reflection point where too many athletes have completely disregarded that they have to show...AND prove. I guarantee you every owner in the league had a hard on with how Morey did Simmons, and they're hoping he does the same here
If Clippers weren't in a vice grip to compete with that new arena they got going on, I think they'd cut bait on Kawhi and/or PeeG, or at the very least, play hardball with those next contracts.
