Moving the ball - getting clean looks, moving without the ball, minimizing ball-stopping plays = their offense = normality
ISO after ISO after ISO after ISO etc, not moving the ball / not moving without it = not their offense = aberration

These last two games they've deviated away from their usual style of play. Of course, I don't expect you to acknowledge reality.

:hubie:
Acknowledge reality? :skip: I already told you the Warriors were playing more iso which they can't do better than Houston, and I already told you why that was happening. You responded with a non sequitur smilie.

So the question is, after witnessing the Rockets force the Warriors to play their style games 2, 4 and 5 with a 3-2 lead to show for it...The question is, are you ready to finally accept reality? :usure:

Seriously, when you think about it, when has KD ever delivered when it matters most? Even the clutch 3 last year came when the Warriors were already 2 games up. In 2013 without Westbrook he lost in the 1st round to Memphis. In 2014 he literally slipped up with a potential game winning possession against the Spurs. In 2016 he blew a 3-1 lead against the Warriors. He’s a mismatch for damn near the entire Rockets roster yet passes to a trapped Klay instead of taking the final shot in game 4. This game he literally avoids the last 2 possessions. Dude ain’t built for crunch moments

He's made a ton of adjustments in this series, but since Iggy has been out it's crippled that spot he's usually in (forcing Kerr to play dudes who aren't experienced/talented enough). They're actually been losing because they're not listening and following the system that he created, Durant particularly. They just need to get back to how they typically play and they'll be good. It's no coincidence that they showed their true identity in G3, and end up winning by 40_ points.

They'd only be winning in spite of him if this ISO shyt / little-to-no ball movement actually worked - but it clearly doesn't.

Got that new narrative/excuse locked and loaded:wow:

Deserves its own thread. Arguably the greatest scorer of the recent era, but that “Mr. Unreliable” headline might’ve been true.
I think it was examined in a thread after that series when the headline came out. Deserves revisiting.

You guys wanna act like Iggy being out is a huge deal when but conveniently ignore that our best defender mbah a moute is struggling so badly cause of his shoulder injury that we can't even put him on the floor.

Our defensive efficiency this year with luc on the floor was 2nd in the league, without him 28th...but keep acting like that injury doesn't matter and feel sorry for the poor warriors...
moute a bum
and I want the rockets to win
but iggy being injured the last two games is big
imagine the rockets losing tucker right now
thats basically what happened to the warriors

If Paul isn’t himself game 6 I snatch both him & Harden to load up for a home game 7. Rockets haven’t loss 2 in a row for half a year now & it’s the worst kept secret in the world that James is tired since he missed his last 20 3pt attempts. No point in beating a dead horse, give his legs and additional 2 days rest to come back home and light shyt up. I knew this series was going at least 7 which is what I voted for, Rockets won’t be able to eek out the series without CP2”3 though.
