Kevin Durant turned a 73 win GOAT team into the OKC Warriors.
-> his isolation plays resulting in bricks
-> no ball movement...one minute curry brings it up and tries to score by himself, then Durant repeats
-> dumb mistakes in pressure situations
->nobody knows who is gonna takeover late
I think his Iso plays is whats keeping them from being able to win close games, hell they wouldn't be close if he got his big ass in the post.
Its as if they have no 10 second and under plays in their playbook. The shyt they came up with game 5 was trash too, and why aint nobody moving around?
I appreciate Kerr for the system he's installed but I'm out on him as a coach in terms of in game adjustments and managing this roster. More and more it feels like Iggy was the adult in the room to settle GS down.
-He waited WAY too long in these playoffs to give Bell and Cook meaningful minutes and that hurt them tonight.
-Best ISO player in the world and he doesn't touch the rock on those last 2 possessions. That would have been the time to put KD on the block and say get us a bucket and live with it. I know CP3 went down and they got a wide open jumper from Cook but I'm not sure he should have even been in the game at that point.
they would never lose if he did that
He couldn't do shyt because they either had Draymond's man (Tucker) or Kevin Looney's man (Harden) collapsing on him when he had the ball down-low and neither of those guys would make cuts to the basket.
For all this talk about KD needing to pass the ball more, his teammates are doing a real poor job of making cuts to the basket when he has the ball in the post.
you are right they are just standing and watching him play hero ball, but he shouldn't ever be bringing the ball up court unles its a fast break. He isn't looking to pass and isn't a great ball handler. Their offense shouldn't look this sloppy, its like when a kid that doesn't know how to play 2k picks the warriors.
