Houston somehow coaxed Golden State into ISO Ball. Gotta give D'Antoni credit. We all went after him when he said "We don't need to change anything". We went after him when he said "the pressure is on GS". Houston's brand of ISO ball works. Even if Houston doesn't win the series, it's evident that their brand of ISO ball slow downs the pace and takes GS out of rhythm. Picking on Steph on defense and taking him to the rim, instead of overpassing, is the way to go. why do people act so surprised the warriors started playing ISO ball late in the game ? this is what teams typically do in a tight game when they have a closer.

for one thing you can get generate great offense out of isolations, but lots of passing can lead to turnovers and that it always the last thing you want in a tight game. its not as easy to make those pin point passes when the defense is locked in so much as in a close game down the stretch.
