Watching the Warriors gives me flashbacks to the '90s and those Bulls teams. Not in terms of how they play; they don't play alike at all. More generally, it's just how I remember that when Jordan wasn't killing you, Pippen was. Like, they would alternate on and off just destroying nikkas out there. And then when it wasn't one of them, some white dude was hitting a three for them (I guess Klay is close enough for this analogy when it comes to these Warriors).

This reminds me of the '96 Finals when we had a really good squad up here, but there was never any sense that as good as the Sonics were, they were going to be able to consistently stop a team that always had one elite player killing you on nearly every play up and down the court.

to me the sonics problem is they had no finals experience and came out like a deer in headlights the first 3 games, especially guys like detlef shrempf. when they finally stopped playing scared they were good matchup. they played better defense on MJ than any other team in history i think. he was reduced to a volume scorer and only shot like 39% from the field that series.
