The whole game stats don't reflect the officiating in the third quarter. It was a 20-plus point turn around from the Rockets being up 10 to the Warriors being up 10. That's what everybody's upset about. I don't think you can watch the third quarter objectively and feel like the fouls were called evenly. I guess Harden has bad karma because he has been flopping all season but they didn't call legitimate hard fouls on the Warriors and we're calling touch fouls on the Rockets. Breh, I live in Oakland and was rooting for the Warriors and even I saw it. It just hurts the league when I do this shyt.
Which team you think got called for more fouls in the third quarter? To me the refs decided to let both teams play and Houston couldn't rely on them for help which meant they was in trouble.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
People thinking that he's gonna pull a Willis Reed, take a numbing shot and play tomorrow.. things are not going to go the way they think. They will absolutely torch CP3 defensively if he's on the court.

People get injured. It's a really, really tough break... but it happens all the time. Houston fans can have some solace in thinking they would've won the series if CP3 was healthy.

True but I don’t want to think like that. I already knew from the jump that Harden was not the answer even though he was proving me wrong in the first half. I forgot basketball has 48 minutes

Well, both can be true. Just because they were called for more fouls doesn't really mean anything. Basketball is a game of runs and swallowing the whistle at key moments when a team has the momentum can change the outcome
Man, y'all trying to reason with folks that have no interest in the reasoning with anyone. "Steph and Klay had no foul calls"....since when did Steph and Klay play like Harden and Gordon? It's dumb. Any person would two eyes can see that the officiating has been fukked up since game 1. Those calls on Ariza were ridiculous.
Been reading update after update and it looks even worse. Not one confident source saying Cp3 will play come game 7
There is no way he's playing if he has a hamstring strain. I don't understand why they're playing the "will he/won't he play" game with this. This ain't an injury that you can just come back from 4 days later and be ok...especially not at 33. Even if CP3 thinks he can play, I wouldn't feel comfortable seeing him on the court.

LMAO. I think a lot of people did. Warriors defense and offense kicked on in the second half.

Swallowing the whistle didn't help the Warriors hit shots and it didn't make the Rockets miss the shots they made in the first half.

I actually believe it can. I've seen with my own eyes nikkas make shots and you just know it's going in because of the energy from the fans and the momentum. I'm not taking away from the players who made shots but it is what it is. Part of the game is mental, getting that boost of energy helps, whether from fans or refs, in this case it was both

The refs made the game janky. That benefits the warriors. They like all that chaotic shyt...

If they would have been consistent calls the game would have flowed normally and Houston probly close out.

refs had Chris Webber calling them out but Draymond murdered Harden in the 4th...

On that video, the only questionable call I saw was in the first half when Gordon drove in the lane and was met at the rim by three Warriors... on the call you are describing in the 4th, Harden pushed off first to even get in to the lane. It looks like the refs just let them play on that one.

You right, I'm sure the Warriors love being held and grabbed on every play when they're trying to get open :stopitslime:

In the first half -

Then this happened -

Lol I'm talking about the process off the court if you look at it like this from 2013 they have been building this team tried different coaches, different players, different schemes on offense, different research on basketball to where they got to this point of a bunch of 6'3 to 6'10 guys who with their length can switch faster than the 2014 Spurs which seemed like modern basketball perfected ( I think 2012 onward should be called modern ball) ,shoot the three (their goal is to shoot 50 a game ( right now not counting Capella most of their guys getting clock are averaging about 7 to 8 threes a game) , and able to be smaller but sorta bigger than the Warriors in small ball formation and it's a team with Vets with no fear in their heart

Other teams out West quit in 2014 then the Warriors coming out of nowhere caused more teams out west to quit to the point where in Memphis a team believed to be a countender was tracked in the middle of being too bad to win championships and too good to lose games to get them talent in the draft ( so like that story of Marc Gasol telling Fitzdale he wasn't Pop and Fitz firing back with the You not LeBron)

OKC in my opinion wasted a ton of draft picks on trash players leading to the team to crumble once KD left him plus Russ hid a lot of flaws in how the team was bulit

The Clippers could have been great but they always got hurt and if they didn't get hurt they would regress

The Spurs basically got too cute with hubris after KL won finals MVP since then they wasted draft picks on players that play the same and they wasted money on international washed players

The other teams out west are building for a post Warriors future in my post 2012 is modern basketball idea the average run for a team is four years after that they stuck or they fall this also falls within range of players entering their prime, players bodies falling them, and young players on that are just getting off their rookie deals a chance to make more money that's why trading for picks is almost more valuable in a way than trading for a washed "all-star"

You could argue it's the same out East but it's different because it's not so much as a team it's LeBron from 2006 in the east he's been at the conference semi finals at the minimum reaching the finals eight times and reaching the conference finals ten times. In the East LeBron has won three game sevens in eastern conference playoffs and THIRTY ONE series in the East and if they lose tonight this will be 100 games played for this man this season plus the playoffs

Houston beat themselves on this game. Every time you can get a 17pt lead on the road, you should calm the fukk down. No need to get desperate with terrible or bad plays

I’m not going to even watch the game if cp3 isn’t playing. Now the defense for warriors will be easy in crowding harden.

Just like people were saying that they are expecting the rockets to win when they win it is the same way I’m never having faith in James Harden until he seals the deal that he can be an “answer”.

Fouls occur on every play in the NBA. The refs job is to be consistent in how they call the game. No calls lead to turnovers and run outs, which is how GS wants to play.

Classic case of home cooking last night. Part of the game tho :yeshrug:
