I was joking but you need to just get comfortable with the idea that Brock will be the QB for at minimum the next 3 years and we will be a competitive team should be we draft smartly and make saavy FA signings.

In 6 playoff games.... Purdy has thrown 1 INT and the 49ers have made the NFCCG and the Super Bowl.

Herbert just threw 4 INTs just today.... I don't even think he has a playoff win. Sure, he has an elite arm but he been receiving a pass for a while

Comparing the two is silly given one has a team of all pros and the other doesn't even have a #1 receiver. Herbert is overrated and has been disappointing but yall aren't arguing fairly. I know Brock will be locked up. Doesn't mean I have to be happy with him getting a monster deal.

How did Purdy have "more to work with" than other QBs ? Aiyuk and CMC were injured all year. Deebo was banged up and didn't look right for much of the season either. He only had Kittle and Jennings who cooled off in the second half of the season.

Even still, Purdy ranked in the top 10 in several QB categories even with all of the injuries.
