I agree. I always thought nick cannon was corny.

Seemed like he was always trying to be something he’s not.
I really don’t see how, its not like Nick has ever tried to be gangsta or anything.

He’s a comedian and businessman who apparently is on a mission to sire as many children as there are fish in the sea.

Alright, that last one got me.

I know where my birth certificate is though, so maybe I'm not the right person to speak on this. :hubie:
I got my certificate and my original social security card in a folder next to my bed (along with my tax documents for the past 5 years) at all times. :deadrose:

I don't understand why people are so in their feelings about people calling him a cornball or corny. I've heard men and women call him that. I have no issues with that man but when L'oreal said he used to bring his head shots to school I said yeah that's corny lol. L'oreal's issue is not owning calling him corny. If he was corny back then okay, it paid off.

Just like how people used to say Kobe was weird, didn't hang out or go to parties and would rather be shooting in the gym etc. Was he weird or was he hyper focused on basketball and being one of the best players the game has ever seen? Sometimes people aren't into superficial things that others are into and that's okay. Whatever MBJ and Kobe were or did back then set them up for what they became. Be corny and lame, fukk them people.

:manny:

The point is that “Corny” is an insult. There is not a man alive on this earth that wants to be known as corny, and people are being disingenuous equating “Corny” with “Normal”; they’re NOT the same and not interchangeable.

Men are rightfully taking issue with insults being uttered and expected to just take it and not call it out. Being focused on a goal isn’t corny. I can’t speak to the headshots unless he was bringing them to school because he had an audition directly afterward and needed to have it on hand; but the fact of the matter is that the initial conversation on the podcast was speaking on MBJ as he is NOW, in which that Diva chick called him “Nice & Corny”. That was the initial insult, it would be like if I said “Such and such is a cool hoe, and I don‘t mean that as an insult”. Its STILL an insult and we all know it. If the person i’m talking to says “I went to school with such and such and we used to tease her for bringing pregnancy tests to school”. I’m backing up that person’s insult.

Yep.

If someone said they used to call someone smelly in high school and someone else chimes in saying that the person would wear the same outfit 3 days in a row and didn't put on deodorant after gym class, yeah, they didn't call the person smelly, but they provided context and support for why that person was called smelly.

Myself and my own.
Women insults be like

"He goes to bed at the same time every night to get up for work"
"He knows the birthdays of all his kids"
"He probably keeps his resume up to date"
"He puts on the indicator before switching lanes"
I do think guys should have some fun with this shyt. Spin it into something positive but at the same time, use this as a means of realizing not all women are worth your time. Get with ones that fit your purpose and leave the silly ones alone.

Who said don't call it out? In the initial video thread, I said good for him, and he handled it well. She's a clown regardless and it made her look like a fool not him. He has every right to call her out; she should've said yes, we did call you corny back then but that didn't stop you from succeeding. Instead, she deflected like there isn't audio of her saying it twice.

Sadly, people will have their opinions whether you're up or down. As long as you are comfortable with yourself and see the vision, fukk them people. Perhaps I am just not about letting other people define me. I've been called a lot of things, but I never accepted I was those things. Clearly MBJ didn't either. Anyone who calls MBJ corny based off of interviews, movies etc but don't know him in real life has their own issues.

I never said focusing on a goal is corny. I said sometimes people aren't into superficial things that others are into, they have their own interests, which leads to them being called corny or lame. Like I said I don't have a problem with him and don't get the hate he gets. That man doesn't bother anyone and minds his business, yet people are always coming for him. Whenever I see him pop up on my tv I say another bag for Wallace. Whether he's corny or not, the people talking about him don't sign his checks and they damn sure aren't stopping his bags.

“Corny” or not, 90% of these hoes that are speaking on this man would be topping him off if they were alone in a room with him.
