Forget generational wealth let's start by just having a proper life insurance policy for our children and some investments that way our children don't start life in a hole. But I do agree with her general message though.

My thing is even if you want to counter her with saying money/building wealth/group economics ain't the solution, then what is? Vote? Leave America? Pray?

I think the most important thing she said is more solution based thinking is necessary.

I feel exactly where bae is coming from. I'm tired of these Internet Ass Muhfukkas too :beli: We should get married brehs šŸ˜

I've said it multiple times but at the height of Black Lives Matter and all that shyt, we HAD a serious campaign for group economics. And then cats started listening to some fukkin LOSERS in their parents basement giving weekly sermon's how "tHe DaTa sAyS wE cAn'T dO aNyTHiNg"

And then fooled cats EVEN FURTHER cause remember all that energy towards group economics? Apparently that's not self interest. You know what is??? An acronym :gladbron: We just gotta start claiming we're ADOS/FBA/TGYW/1?=S and bytch about the motion everyone else got going. We'd be further along if you Pan Africanists and c00ns got on code :hhh:

While this is true, without knowledge and knowledge of self your children will likely fukk it off. First thing is to deprogram your children from white supremacy. Which is incredibly hard to do while living in the heart of it. I tell my daughter all the time, but who knows if she actually gives a damn about what im saying. Will your child look at you like anything other than a clown if you preach about pan africanism/leaving the country/group economics if you havent actually done it?

The youth is tired of hearing us tell them what to do,while weve done absolutely nothing with the knowledge we preach:respect:

Itā€™s a piece of the puzzle but there is much more to it..

Starts with Self belief and collectivism is what sustains legacies ā€¦A lot of gen-wealth gets squandered due to disjointed families beefingā€¦

We would rather complain and buy designer clothes, cars and jewelry and then flex on the people that canā€™t afford it :banderas:

Go tell Asians in California that they don't vote. They've completely transformed academic policies there (shytcanning affirmative action) in order to get their kids into as many quality universities as possible. They influence zoning laws and tax benefits in order to help their businesses. And they do this with their local political power. School boards, state representatives, mayors, etc.

The problem with this convo is there are too many sides with resentments that lead to them taking stupid maximalist positions, whether it's "voting doesn't matter" or "wealth doesn't matter." You can differentiate yourself from the "just vote" crowd without taking the opposite extreme position.

In terms of economics, anyone who tells you that black businesses don't matter or the middle class doesn't matter should be ignored. Some of those people are communists who literally glorify struggling and being broke. They aren't worth having discussions with because they are literally brainwashed. Do I think "black economics" are the go-to savior for black people? No. But surely we can agree that having black stores that purchase wares from black farmers, while hiring black tradesman for maintenance issues would be a great scenario. Especially if most of these people live within the same communities or cities. That's literally what Asians, Arabs, and Hispanics do every day of the fukking year.

They're gonna say you're colonized for thinking this.
