May these two dudes RIP. Their old reviews are pretty good.. Siskel tho
I can honestly say they were a reason I like movies. It was also eye opening all the movies that were out there that you never saw a TV advertisement for they would review.I use to love listening to their reviews back in the day
Watching this is like stepping back into time, I can vividly remember watching this on tv back in the day

It was in like a local station WPIX or the local Fox station or something. I think it came on like Saturdays at 6 or 7 PM and they would rerun it Sunday at noon. Was the show in syndication or PBS?
I remember them scheduling the show all over the place.
One day I'll watch its on early in the morning. The next day its on late in the afternoon
Siskel was one of the few critics that gave The Silence of the Lambs a thumbs down. I mean.. it's his opinion and all but still...
Yeah Hoop Dreams was made in Chicago which was the home base of Siskel & Ebert. Ebert had a black wife as wellThe most important movie they ever supported was Hoop Dreams. I remember Ebert being very passionate about the movie.
