I'm glad that Google has finally gotten their shyt together when it comes to the Android platform. I always looked at it as though they were throwing everything against the wall to see what works, while Apple was attempting to add things on slowly after refining them.
I'll admit that Siri is a flop right now. But as long as the OEMs Google work with take forever to roll out the newest version of Android (ICS has been out for a year. According to a servey I saw on The Verge, only 7% of Android sets run ICS) then these advanced features won't matter. By the time the OEMs start dropping phones with ICS, Apple will be on iOS 6, Siri will be better implemented, and the advantage Google has begins to dry up.
This video matters to nerds like us who care passionately about these things. The regular consumer doesn't see this shyt. They see Sam Jackson talking to his iPhone and then ask techies like me "how come my phone doesn't do that?"
