Umm, yeah... You and the two dudes who dapped you are tripping....
Anyway, I like The Cool Kids and Mikey's solo stuff too, but this isn't the tape that I would tell anyone to listen to and expect them to become a fan because this is definitely the worst effort that I've heard from him overall (
The Rocks Report, Premier Politics, Premier Politics 1.5>>>>>>>>>
Lap of Lux). He sounds like a typical generic swag rapper on here who talks about the same stuff everyone else talks about in his demographic, in the exact same non-creative fashion ( i.e. cars & clothes that everyone's familiar with and him talking about abusing prescription drugs). On
The Rocks Report, you had joints like
"Deal Went Sour" and
"Banco Popular" where he told stories and showed that he's lyrically capable of holding his own solo. Same thing on
Premier Politics with songs like
"Brite" and
"Mr. T"-- not to mention those projects just included better music overall that sounded like he was really doing him. I messes with Mike's music heavy, but this is too cookie cutterish for my liking. Also, someone please get auto tune away from this guy ASAP.
There were two tracks that I like and actually played more than once after one listen:
"Good Sushi", which I don't think it's a coincidence that I liked since it was produced by Chuck Inglish, and
"Can't Hide It" because dude named Rockie Fresh killed it lowkey;
"....your bytch about to fall victim to the pimp game/
on the boat she's sailin'/ she on the Huntin like Helen/
I know What Women What, but to these nikkas I ain't tellin..."/
LOL
Like I said, this tape isn't the one to listen to if this is the first time that he's grabbed your attention.
The Rocks Report, Premier Politics, Premier Politics 1.5 are all far and away better than this IMO.
