This song should be psychologically studied. Real talk. 
For one, it objectifies women's bodies, but does so in a way they are not at all offended by it, while at the same time providing body positivity for said women who are being objectified, who are thicker and aren't thin/petite, while simultaneously also being a favorite of thin/petite women who have no butt to shake but do anyway when the song comes on.
Further, the song has been overtaken as a fav of white women, even tho the opening part of the song makes fun of white women who are offended by seeing, presumably, a black woman with a big ass. Some witty (and covertly sexual bars) lines that get ignored and we have a universal song that will transcend age groups for years to come.
