1.I remember too and yes the server was major factor. However, the "fukk the users" type of attitude by the sohh powers that be,led to a level of disdain that made their downfall very easy.
2.No history rewriting,censorship and unwarranted disrespect toward users was a huge factor as well.

I didn't have an issue with some of his opinions but the problem was is that he spoke as authority in hip-hop without having any real sort of context. Instead of asking questions like any student should he tried to re-write history to fit a narrative that only exists in his head and then antagonized posters as dikkchasers and sheep when they don't conform to his shytty opinions.
