I've been selling the last year or so on ebay, after only buying for 10 years. There's A LOT of bullshyt you have to put up with, for the tradeoff of having a large potential audience.

I sent in the proof and eBay still refunded her all her money and tried to take more from me. They ended up sending me to collections and terminating my account, but I wasnt going to sell on there anymore anyway. Not worth it

This just happened to me. They haven't terminated my account but I'm going to do it. shyt is ridiculous. The taking a cut twice really pisses me off. I only messed with eBay cause I didn't want to meet some local nikka trying to haggle me or give random people my phone number but at this point I might have to.

Yup all those fees. It cost to post the item, then ebay takes a cut for you using the site basically, then you get hit with that monthly bill then paypal takes a cut....

Agreed. Amazon gives you the same exposure around the country. Ebay just cracking now that quality competition in town. May just be a defense for the bad sellers over the years.

i always wondered about that. like what if you sell a major electronics item and the customer says you sent a box full of rocks? even with delivery confirmation you can't prove what was in the box unless you video tape you taking the box to the post office and sealing it up then mailing it off.

seems like people could just buy stuff off you then get a chargeback and screw you over.

my only problem with Craigslist is people want ridiculous deals to buy shyt. i got a PS Vita on there for $150 and i had a guy offer me $100 for it. $150 is $100 off the retail. really cause mine is a 3G its $150 off retail.

I normally messed with Amazon.com but they don't have always have what I am looking for. I ordered something from Ebay recently it was overseas and now since it took too long with Customs. So I lost money and ebay won't refund me either even though I never received the item. This new site called www.ioffer.com is pretty good I bought from the site a few times without any problems. Ioffer were using Paypal for their transactions but now have cancelled with them and they Google Checkout, Amazon payments etc.
