The TOP was trash because the states were just way to high so you knew that they'd win.

IMO TOP was like a combination of Dragon ball mixed with Z when it should be a evolution of Z.


Super I enjoy over all but TOP really stains it imo, only because its just done so badly, but it also introduces so much important stuff into the lore of DB that you gotta watch it, which is unfortunate since its so weak. It also has some of the coolest moments, great character development and characters but yet again its so badly paced and laid out ( in the anime at least) that it's just annoying to watch as a whole or even think about.

Super in general is trash, entertaining, but still trash. The zamasu arc made no sense, BotG was meh, and RoF was passable.

For all the hate Toyotaro gets, the dude is at least trying to get Tori-yams shyt stories to make sense.

Remember, Hit had JUST packed up Goku something serious when he increased his Time Skip to 0.5. shyt looked over and Goku pulls out the Kaio-Ken and had the whole arena shook.

That whole arc was trash and just felt like *insert anime hype scene*, the music as well.

Nothing about it felt like dragon ball or Z.

It felt like a 2000s fan fiction written by a bunch of teenagers. Just a bunch of people being added and included in a story line because they were fan favourites.

even the animation has taken a few steps back.

I see that DB Super thread still going strong and get that Walking Dead vibe anytime I see it.

Nah shyt is wack, DB stopped making sense years ago even within the context of its own universe. Ultra instinct is described as a state of mind but they simplified it with a transformation and moreeeee powahhhhhhh as per always. Not surprised as predominantly that’s what DB is but they should have just outright said it was a transformation that could be gained from the start.



Still a DB fan but all the hair colour changes is a bit to much.
