Since Kofi won, is all forgiven with Hogan?

fukk Hogan, but if Big E can move past it, I will.

I'm not gonna lie, I've been upset with the reception he's gotten since he's been back. The crowd has been cheering him as if shyt is sweet, when it isn't. Big ups to Big E and Woods for ice grilling him at the HOF.

I don't give a shyt about Hogan, and honestly haven't since 2002

This is basically where I stand... I don't care enough about the guy to feel one way or another at this point. Just like the black wrestlers who didn't sit around to bother with him and his apology last year. I doubt they walk around constantly saying "fk Hogan!" to themselves, but they probably don't give a fk about anything he has to do with. Dude is basically somebody I used to be a fan of when I was a kid, now I don't even pay attention to... might as well be Pee Wee Herman.

A 65 year old man doesn't understand the meaning of the word(s) racist, racism?:dahell:

What Hogan said was foul, but with all due respect do you honestly know the difference between prejudice, bigotry and racism? It definitely wouldn't surprise me if Hogan doesn't.

They're related terms, but often used interchangeably and semantically incorrect.

Yeah, you explaining all of this for a 65 year old white man who clearly said “I’m a racist, fukking ni*****” is pretty pointless

If I wanted to stop there I would've.

Please explain how encouraging intelligence and correct word usage is rationalization.
I don't buy your concern. These little semantics games that you people like to play are only carried out in certain threads. Your agreeing earlier with that loser who claimed Hogan can't be racist because he's had black friends gave the game away.

I just get tired of in general people being so quick to call everything racist and blackface... A white person darkening their skin for a costume isn't automatically blackface, and people don't take racism as seriously because everything stupid is being accused of being racist

I mean, we can see what the game is here too.

First off, I repped this post for your ability to disagree with me respectfully. Most people lazily just jump to calling each other c00ns and such, so I'm glad you avoided that...

In no way did I rationalize Hogan's comments. I don't agree that "Hogan isn't racist because he has black friends", I think it's just more accurate to call Hogan a prejudicial bigot (which isn't any 'better' but again imo likely more accurate) I don't think a legit racist would even want his daughter with the basketball playing rich black guy.

The reason I agreed with @Slystallion was more about the prejudice aspect. People here constantly bytch about black people marrying/dating whites, which is essentially the same thing Hogan did.

As for as my blackface comment, maybe an example might help:

When DX and the Nation were feuding, I thought the parody was hilarious. They weren't trying to portray generic stereotypical caricatures, they were dressing up as SPECIFIC people to push the feud. I didn't, and still don't, find that offensive and wouldn't label it as racist.
